I got out my "certificate" (Sirius HF # 722) which has a photograph showing their Adjustable Deluxe Seat with no lower back brace/band. I suspect that this was not a part of the seat design when I purchased my kayak although it does have a spare paddle recess, retractable skeg, etc..
