Re the discussion on cooking equipment, I have tried for years to assemble the
right combination of utility, weight, and size and never been totally
satisfied. Recently ordered a 6-piece Tex-sportaluminum kit from Gary Olen's
Sportsman's Guide. It has proven the best set yet for my needs -- and it is
now selling for $7.97! Perhaps slightly bigger than some will want to carry,
but I eat lots of soup, so wanted a little larger pot than the smallest
stainless steel versions provide. Others may want to order the smaller fry
pan and leave off the big pot. Fry pan and pots all have foldable handles.

Tip: I like the ramen soups available in Asian stores -- Kim Chi Ramen,
Ngouro, etc. Spicy and flavorable -- the Mercedes-Benz of ramen soups. Mix
in some sausage or pepperoni and/or those dried vegetables available from REI
and you get a great stew that really makes you sweat.
