A humbling experience. But it sure does turn well... and it came in at only 38# in standard fiberglass construction and yellow color (which I've been told is a heavier color in that more resin has to be used to get complete coverage...) My TwoGood Offshore feels like an aircraft carrier by comparison. Anybody ever tried replacing the seat in one of these things? This one is too small for me. It's edges just go straight down instead of being sloped outwards a little as they go up. I've got a sore spot on each thigh bone to prove it. Maybe if/when my balance improves, I can put a half inch of padding in the bottom - which might raise me up far enough so the bones don't hit the edge....but for now, it looks like some surgery is in order. I'm guessing the Findeisen just licenses the outer hull shape and the seat shape/height is peculiar to each builder.. ----------------------- Pete Cresswell *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - All postings copyright the author and not to be reproduced/forwarded outside PaddleWise without author's permission Submissions: PaddleWise_at_PaddleWise.net Subscriptions: PaddleWise-request_at_PaddleWise.net Website: http://www.paddlewise.net/ ***************************************************************************
