[Paddlewise] Sharks

Hello all,
    Any shark attack is a terrible tragedy. My sincere condolences to the 
families involved in Florida and elsewhere.
    How common are shark attacks on kayakers while paddling in their boats? 
Certainly we are less of an attraction given the lack of a lot of splashing, 
but does the sound of the paddle sound like prey as well?
