Uh, Wes isn't talking about deserting winter altogether. He's looking for a break during the long winter months... much like some folks in really warm climates look for a break from the summer heat and head north. It's nice when you can take off to another location for a change of pace and mix it with your normal routine. btw, I bet the folks in much of Florida would argue that it's warmth and sunshine in Florida all year long any more than it's frozen and overcast in Minnesota all year long. One year, even Galveston Bay froze over (but that was a very long time agp and I wasn't even here yet :-) Cheers, Jackie *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - All postings copyright the author and not to be reproduced/forwarded outside PaddleWise without author's permission Submissions: PaddleWise_at_PaddleWise.net Subscriptions: PaddleWise-request_at_PaddleWise.net Website: http://www.paddlewise.net/ ***************************************************************************Received on Sat Sep 02 2000 - 12:34:17 PDT
