Nothing like waiting until the last minute. A friend and I are leaving for the Broken Islands in Barkley Sound on the west side of Vancouver Island this Saturday morning.  We'll be driving via the Trans Canada and catching the ferry Saturday night or Sunday morning.  Does anyone know any dealers that sell the small transistor one way weather radios?  I contacted Radio Shack and there are none available in western or central Canada - sold out after the tornado here in July.  Contacted boating and radio companies here in Edmonton, and they don't sell them.  Are there any dealers in Vancouver, Nanaimo or Port Alberni that you know of that might sell these?
