[Paddlewise] Fwd: Safety and "Canoe & Kayak" Magazine

By making kayaking appear to be dangerous,  demanding,  risky, 
equipment-intensive, and needing extensive instruction from "trained" or 
"certified" paddlers serves to inflate the macho image of the sport and the 
egos of the participants.
