NPR had a rather nice story of him and his practice on the Potomac- 2x a
day, 5 reps of 2x around the course for the past 20 years, quite a
regime.  Takes breaks with trips to the Gauley and Upper Yough. 
 Sounded like a interesting guy, also an interesting diversion that
slalom.  I also like slalom boats-good excuse to build a fleet-hmmmm....
