FYI: A large percentage of the high prices charged at events go right back to the promotors. Event promotors can charge vendors hundreds or thousands of dollars, or a large percentage (20 to 45%) of their gross income to sell at big events. Vendors don't want to gouge customers with outrageous prices; they sell more food when the prices are lower.
