hi mark, and thanks for the welcome.  when we did cobscook bay, we 
went up past the outlet that leads to reversing falls.  you could 
hear them thundering in the distance (these aren't falls with a huge 
drop..not at all...the currents are so strong tho, it SOUNDS like a 
huge drop)  and i wouldn't go ANYWHERE near the reversing falls no 
way no how!!!!  (wimpy?  YEP!)

i have done more canoeing than kayaking at this point, and i have 
been mostly on lakes  and rivers all over the state.  somes sound was 
a fun kayak though....cobscook and all the nosy seals was truly a 
kick!  heading up to the forks today and heaven only knows where i 
shall paddle!!!
