I just discovered I am in another of Sweetwater pictures. Here is a pict of
a tour we did following the Sweetwater Symposium in February 2000 in the
10,000 islands near Marco Island and Naples Florida.

Another great trip. Super folks to paddle with.

Check the photo 5th up...counter clockwise from lower left: That's me!

PS That "ain't" hot chocholate we're drinking!

Was that a saltwater crock in the pictures?

I have it on very good repute that the ferocius looking creature is merely
an alligator "hanging out."

We saw a good many critters on this tour.. including the elusive manatee.
It was visable only for a moment before it dived.

I think I heard a boat hit a manatee during the night. We were camping on
the beach when I heard a boat "buzz by" fairly close into the shoreline at
high speed during the night...about 4:00 a.m. The boat hit something solid
which killed the engine. It took awile for the boat to crank back up.. The
next day, some boaters came by asking us if we had seen a dead manatee which
someone had reported.
