[Paddlewise] High School Technology Class Kayak Project

Hello, My name is Eric Orchard, I live in Stratford, Ontario, Canada.  I 
teach Integrated Technologies and Construction Technology in London, 
Ontario at Mother Teresa Catholic Secondary School.

Over the past three years we have built two racing hydroplanes and one 
C-Class racing runabout.  We are now putting together our first rough Bill 
of Materials to present to our Board of Education in an attempt to start a 
multi-year Kayak Building Program.  We hope the students will develop 
skills in boat building, maneuvering and racing while enjoying the outdoors 
and water recreation.

I would really appreciate any information you could provide us as related to:
