Debbie,
I hope Jackie won't mind if I ask you to provide just a little more info on
this car on the front channel here.  Reasoning: it relates to protecting the
environment, which is a legit Paddlewise topic, and you have this issue of
mounting the boat on it. . .  I recently purchased a new car, too.  I bought
a Subaru Outback instead of a big SUV, at least partly for environmental
reasons.  But I never heard of this "Insight".  Can you tell us, is it
highway capable?  Can it carry multiple passengers?  Is it safe in a
collision?  Or is it like a little "around town" thing one step up from a
bicycle?  I'm curious.  I'll be needing another car in a year or so, for
Maine. . . If Jackie wants this offlist just say so, Jackie, and we'll do
that.
