I requested permission from Jackie before posting this. It is not a commercial promoting our tours, but to solicit someone seriously interested in participating in our project ... as a partner, instructor, tour leader, etc. My wife and I own a 'tour business' in Brazil, and for many years I have worked as a consultant to the Brazil government. (My wife is Brazilian) Part of my work over the years has been to promote new projects that are of interest to the Brazilian locals and can help develop ecologically sound projects .... my marine and boat building background, combined with our interest in tourism, and the potential of the country lead me to consider 'kayaking' .... I won't go into full detail in this message ... but our recent webpage has shown that there is an interest ... and the unprecedented responses have made me 'wake up and smell the coffee'. Many of us, myself included, have retired from very active lifestyles. Many of us have thought about retiring to Paradise, some neat tropical place that the cost of living was cheaper .. and pursuing our dreams in our old age. Some friendly place, no wars, little crime, nice people .. and a comfortable life style. I've resolved mine (I'm already there). But I need interested and knowledgeable help.
