You might try "GOO GONE" a citrus based sticky stuff remover. I haven't tried it on pads, but have used it for other types of adhesive removal as well as tree sap and road tar with good results. I have decided it's time to rethink my Explorers fit and need to remove all of the existing foam outfitting to try something new. I'd like to avoid just dumping a bunch of nasty Acetone around. It seems so wasteful, inefficient and non-green. ;-) Thanks in advance for you advise.
