Nick, The idea of using cypress was a good one ... the outdoor cypress furniture factory supplied over 2,500' of 'cove and bead' for $ 250.00 (mostly 6' - 8 pieces, some 10') for my double. All nice consistant light color. This all came from his scrap pile so I feel that I saved the material from wasteful 'burning' which was it's destination. I'm well on my way with the construction process. The guy is willing to do more (using my C & B bits) in case anyone is interested. Shipable by UPS ....
