Its Halloween, so shoot off those old, expired flares! I had 50% actually work this year. However, shooting flares from land just isn't the same as at sea. Doing it out there (for real) is when it can be really scary. PS A buddy of mine in Port Hardy just told me on the phone that there was a 12 foot sea off Pine and Storm Island last weekend.
