I'm currently reading 'Homelands', Byron Ricks story of kayaking the inside

passage from Juneau to Seattle. The illustrations, including the map, by his

wife are beautiful. But the map provides little detail, and I'm interested in

following their route on a chart as I move through the book. Does anyone

familiar with the story know which NOAA charts I might refer to to map their

route?

Thanks in advance-

A. Mariani

the NOAA chart that covers this area of Alaska is # 16016. Dixon entrance to
Cape St. Elias.

Unfortunately Angoon is not named on this chart. It is located on the west
side of Admirality Island at Kootsnahoo inlet.

I enjoyed the book because I have paddled many of these same waters and I know
many of the people mentioned in it. Also I used to pastor the Presbyterian
Church mentioned in the chapter on Angoon.

As far as canada maybe one of the canuks(sp?) can help you
