Hi paddler,

A question :

Anyone use eTrex Summit GPS ?
Not the normal eTrex version, but the version
'Summit' with the altimeter.
Could I use that elevation meter like a barometer ?
..If my idea is good, I'll use it like a GPS & like
a barometer to weather forecast.... a dream ??

Thanks in advance for the collaboration.

mauro.

Check out sci.geo.satellite-nav

The latest firmware version for the eTrex Summit provides an option to
display ambient pressure. The unit also provides 12 hour pressure trends.
