I will add my name to this long list of those experiencing vertigo. My worse case came in chop and 3 foot swells and I think was a form of seasickness. I was always carsick as a kid. So apparently it can have several causes- i imagine a head cold or a case of flu might even make it worse. It is very unerving to lose your sense of balance and ability to sense whether to brace or not. Luckily I got back to shore in about 10 min I don't know what would have happened if that would have been a long crossing-- I was alone as well. *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - All postings copyright the author and not to be reproduced/forwarded outside PaddleWise without author's permission Submissions: PaddleWise_at_PaddleWise.net Subscriptions: PaddleWise-request_at_PaddleWise.net Website: http://www.paddlewise.net/ ***************************************************************************Received on Tue Nov 07 2000 - 07:59:16 PST
