Sandy, aren't you Floridans supposed to be off voting or something?! Or did you
just want to add to the PW babble?! Anyway, I said I was going to post less and
lurk more, not not post at all. Tom did have a point when he said "WOW a bit of
real useful information in the midst of the Paddlewise babble!!"  about Dave's
VHF comments the other day. I don't want to be accused of being part of the
problem. Tom may have all the charm of a mosquito, but his biting remark was
precisely the reason some of us should shut-up a bit more. I will not name any
names that I think fall into this category! I'll just worry about myself. And I
do know for a fact a lot of good paddlers give up on PW because of the amount of
traffic that fills their e-mail boxes. Like, where did John Lull go? My wife also
said she would paddle with me more if I stop posting so much. How can I argue
with that? She's itching to get out in her new boat with me, and even
self-arranged for a child-sitter this weekend without asking me first. I know of
few people that have as much determination and drive as my wife and I. If we
start paddling the same course together, heck, we might even cross a few shipping
lanes together in the fog :-)  At the very least, this is an awesome cure for my
seven-year itch.

PS Sorry for the second CPA Hypothermia post. I thought the first one got gibbled
up, but I see on my "sent" box that two went out.

PPS Please keep any responses back-channel (and others too, lest I unsubscribe),
and let's let the fine people in PW land have their peace.

PPPS Yvonne says some folks on PW, including me, need to "get a life". I'll have
to second that motion.
