Kathleen,

You will find that the names of rolls differs widely from locale to locale
and causes plenty of confusion. There are also an amazing number of
variations. Just as an example, at the Greenland kayaking championships
there were 30 different maneuvers to perform on both sides for a total of
60 maneuvers.

You won't find all of this on the web yet, but one good site is
<http://www.paddling.com/howto/eskimo-roll.cfm>. Some good books are Derek
Hutchinson's "Eskimo Rolling" and Paul Dutky's "The Bombproof Roll and
Beyond"; each describes a number of different rolls.

If you are interested in the Greenland rolling techniques then get a copy
of the "Rolling with Maligiaq" video from John Heath at
<http://www.fbtc.net/~jdheath/>.
