I thought maybe I'd be in Houston over Christmas and might get a chance to paddle with Natalie but we got a good deal on airfare so I'm going to be out in California for 10 days. At this point I don't have any specific plans to go paddling but should the opportunity arise... I'm going to be in Mendocino county visiting relatives (that's where I was born) for several days right after Christmas. We haven't really planned the rest of the trip but we might head up further north and spend a day in Eureka before going inland (my father lives in Red Bluff). Then we'll probably head back south and possibly spend some time in the bay area or head down to Monterey for a couple of days. In any case, I know that'll be near a lot of water during the trip and would certainly welcome the chance to get out an paddle some.
