[Paddlewise] Chines and Stability

I have been following this discussion.  Lots of theory but no real boats.  I
have a Necky Looksha IV which has chines.  My feeling when paddling is that
it has more stability when you lean into it ("secondary stability?").  Is
this feeling of additional stability just in my head and not in my boat?
