If you have a trailer hitch, you could try a "Backrack", made by the same company that makes the "Bedrack". Bleeve they're at bedrack.com. I own one of these, and usually carry two Necky's, a Looksha IVS and a Tesla NM, without difficulty. Use a trailer hitch to secure the nose to points under the front fender. I drive a Ford F150 extended cab, and have found it useful to be able to both carry kayaks and stash a metric buttload of stuff under my tonneau cover. YMMV.
