Hello,

I'm curious to know if any of you paddle one of Nomad Kayaks' boats. A
Canadian company (Quebec), Nomad offers nearly completed boats. Buyers
'glass the seam, install bulkheads, rudder and deck fittings, etc. Combine
a little sweat equity with the condition of the Canadian dollar, the boats
come at a bargain price.

Specifically, I'd like to know if any of you have paddled one what your
subjective impressions are.

Is the glass seam adequate? Would a larger paddler (6-4, size 12 shoes 230
pounds) fit in the "sportier" Exocet model, or would I be limited to the
Vagabond, which seems a bit tubby -- at least on paper. Any impresions
about the overall quality of the boat?

Thanks,

Mark Paxton
