Jed, Not suprised at the temps you recorded for Sagamore. Week before last in Great bay I ran into ice!! Never in 3 years seen ice in the bay this early. Little icebergs of frozen sea foam and sheets of ice. Crunching through ice in a kayak makes interesting sounds. If we are going to have temps like that this early I may have to opt for a drysuit!! As for the invitation to go for a swim-- which is the greater risk-- this swim or the drive through Boston traffic? Fortunately for me I have an excuse this weekend but the club certainly is doing something that is useful and informative.
