I suspect it was a posed photo. They filled with kayak with water, or something heavier than water and plunged in with photographer in position. Then after a few shots the paddler surfaced for some air. Nice shot though, dontcha think? Barbara ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Barbara Kossy Sea Kayak Italy P.O. In it -- wish I had it with me to properly describe it -- there was a brief article on an island near one of the Atoll's off the coast of Belize. The article covered numerous reasons to visit the island. It included an underwater picture of a kayaker wearing a diving mask and snorkel. The Kayak(er) was completely underwater, almost perpendicular to the bottom, with the bow a scant few feet off the bottom. Couldn't clearly tell how far under water the stern was. The caption mentioned "extreme kayaking" (I think - I'm at work and it just occured to me to ask the Paddlewisers about it, so I'm drawing from memory), but the article was not about kayaking specifically, just travel adventures and a variety of things to enjoy while there. I've not been Kayaking long, but that photo caught me by surprise. What's it all about?? Anyone familiar with it?? I have no intention of trying it..... just curious.
