Hello paddlers! My wife and I are seasoned backpackers hoping to soon become seasoned sea kayakers. Currently planning a first trip to Baja in early April, and would appreciate hearing from anyone willing to educate us about kayaking in the Sea of Cortez. Specifically, we're looking for the place with the prettiest views, secluded beach camping, and no extreme challenges for this first time out. We are considering the Loreto area for our trip -- the islands and the marine reserve look interesting -- but we are completely open to any suggestions you all may have. We are in our mid 30s, and we plan to fly in with our own camping supplies and rent our kayak from one of the outfitters on the peninsula.
