Hi Josh, >Can anyone out there recommend paddling gloves? In New Zealand we are particulary susceptable to sun burning. One of our kayaking shops has fingerless gloves made of thin neoprene that only cover the tops of the hands. It is secured to your hand with small loops that your fingers and thumb go through. (You end up looking like you have webbed frog feet with them on). This method means that your palms and fingers are in direct contact with the paddle shaft, for better control as some would say. They sell for NZ$27.00 each (approx US$14.00) Hope this helps. James.
