The stuff that Bob Denton peddles, called Sink the Stink, does a great job. You only need a little bit mixed with water in a large garbage pail, and you can clean all the booties for everyone in the family. Wetsuits, gloves, sprayskirtsetc. too. I don't know if it's intende dfor anything but neoprene, but we've also thrown our paddling jackets in.
