[Paddlewise] more spraydecks questions

Since everyone seems to on this topic I had a question on materials. 
I've owned a Bushsport skirt for about two sessions and it's held up 
well. The model I have has a rubber applied to the inside and outside 
for extra protection.
I was wondering if anyone knows what is used, liquid latex or rubber 
and how is it applied.
