INDIANA DUNES PWC BAN - YOU MAKE THE DIFFERENCE! We've recently learned that Indiana Dunes National Seashore has received 2,600 comments on their proposed Jet Ski/personal watercraft (PWC) ban (see National Park Lines 2001-01 & 2001-03). Of the comments received, only 9 of these were against the ban! Park staff are expected to meet next week, and are likely to issue a compendium closure effective April, 2001. This is fantastic news, and due in large part to YOUR efforts! Keep up the great work everyone!
