hey gang,

Noticed in a lot of posts that the weather is a wee bit cold down
south....believe it or not we are having an unusually WARM winter here in
Alaska. Temperatures in Sitka were about mid 40's for the past week or so. no
frost and NO SNOW! Even the interior of Alaska is warm compared to most
winters....Fairbanks is around +2 degrees. (usually this time of year it's
around -30) Quick someone check a picture from a satalite and see is the world
has flipped upside down!

Any good recommendations on which sunblock to use?

=============================

hi Bob,
it's been colder than normal here in MD for about the past 10 days, with
temps usually 10-32deg. the main section of the Wicomico River is tidal
into Salisbury, yet it has started to ice up. thus a couple of kayakers who
paddle before daybreak came off the water early today. in the dark, they
were riding up onto fresh ice and hitting it with their paddles... just a
bit to extreeme for them.

no iceburgs here, yet.
bye bye bliven
