I don't know if it's intende dfor anything but neoprene, but we've also thrown our paddling jackets in. It's safe for any materials including PFDs, skirts, inside paddle ferrules, washing out boats after storage..almost anything that stinks. You can also wash your dog in it after a skunk encounter.. cu *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s). That will treat the surface, but odor is cause by bacteria metabolizing nutrients within the structure of the neoprene. STS has live cultures that permeate the neoprene during the drying process and actually out compete the existing bacteria for the same food source. The result is a biologically clean item, and you don't smell like a salad..he heh. - FWIW: I throw in a cup of Vinegar into about 20 gallons of water for the odor problem Wayne SMith *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
