[Paddlewise] What to look for in a Spray Skirt

                  Am planning to purchase my first kayak in coming


                 months an currently obtaining some of the other


                 equipment  





                 I am not sure what I should be looking for when


                 purchasing a spray skirt. Outside of making sure it


                 would fit over the opening of the kayak, is there


                 anything else I should be aware of before making a


                 decision on what spray skirt to purchase. I will be


                 paddling in mostly smooth water area in Southern


                 Georgian and Northern/Central Florida and occasionally


                 in the ocean near the shore.
