[Paddlewise] Resonant Frequency

Seriously (as serious as one with absolutely no formal knowledge of the
subject can get), I suspect your kayak has more than one resonant frequency
..., rather like the body of a stringed instrument.  Maybe you could draw a
bow across the keel while pressing down at various points along the way and
let us know the results. May I suggest "Row, row, row your boat" as a simple
tune to begin with.
