For the record, the folding Puffin should in no way be confused with the
non-folding plastic Puffin which has been around since 1985 or there abouts
and is still sometimes in production. Designed in Canada and the mold has
been in Canada and NZ. There might now only be one and it would be in NZ.
First produced by Nimbus and designed by Steve Schxxxxxx (Matt will know,
my records are at home).

Length 5.0 metres, beam 0.62 m. Heavy with the cockpit pod fitted, there
was a lightweight version at one time without the 6 kg pod.

Personally I thought it was a "dog" of a boat and needs to be loaded
forward to get the bow down to make it go at all. Some thought it stable
but only up to a point then over it would go.
