wow. after all these glowing Florida reports, my husband and i are going if it happens next year! does it happen every year? i used to be the concertmaster of the touring company for new york city opera. I can't believe the number of people who have written offline informing me that they are planning to come to Florida. I think I created a monster...;) Seriously, it's going to take me a long time to recover and no way could I do what I did this time. Someone else would have to coordinate it and everybody would have to make their own way to the meeting place. Just keep me posted so I can come along for the fun part. I started looking for a campground five months in advance and everything was booked. When people leave at the end of this season, they reserve their sites for the following year. Good idea, Sandy. I know that most of us felt sad taht we douldn't spare the time to also go tot he Sweetwater Festival a week later. And it saves a lot of time and energy planning activities. Plus, a certain number of people might be going to the symposium or festival anyway, so there might be a larger turnout.
