I am considering designing and building a fiberglass whitewater boat. I would like to build a mold and avoid the use of any wood. Can anyone recommend books related to this topic or other sources of information. thanks, sid *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s). "BoatBuilder's Manual" by Charlie Walbridge is the standard bible on the subject of making fiberglass kayaks. It is out of print and hard to find, but worth finding. Try http://www.johnrsweet.com/ for more information and as a possible source of the book. "The Boatbuilder's Manual" by Charlie Walbridge is considered the definitive source of information on this topic. It's been revised a number of times, and you'll want to pick up the most recent edition. I'd recommend finding someone who has done this before and building a boat with them before trying it on your own. I've discovered that even patching a fiberglass/kevlar/composite boat involves subleties that aren't immediately obvious. ---Rsk *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
