[Paddlewise] Larry Koenig

This will be the last post I will send to Paddle Wise concerning Larry due to
the continuing good progress of his condition.  


I had driven the seven hours to Tallahassee FL last Monday to remove Larry's
kayak and gear from his car that was stored at a wrecker yard.   Much has
happen during this past week, regarding Larry's amazing come back from an
accident that could have easily have taken both he and his wife Janell's life.
This is not a total come back, Larry still has a long way to go.  There is no
one else I know that has a stronger body, mind and spirit.  I truly believe
that Larry will amaze everyone with the speed of his recovery, as he has
already shown us.  Last night I drove to Baton Rouge to bring the kayak and
gear back to Larry's home.  It is all where it should be till Larry is ready
to start paddling again.


  Some people may be thinking, Well, what about Larry and Arthur's
circumnavigation of the Gulf of Mexico ( www.lacostadelgolfo.com )?  I will
continue the expedition planning as scheduled, there is much to do as both
Larry and I have been devoting most of our spare time into the planning of
this almost 4,000 mile and six month plus expedition that may start no sooner
than 11 months from now (2 / 2 / 02) (or whenever Larry is ready).  We will
play it by ear, only time will tell.   I'll be looking forward to the first
one day paddle with Larry, now that will be an exciting adventure, can't
wait!!  


  My focus will be praying and doing what ever I can for Larry's well being
and his continuing improvement, this is the most important.

Yo Larry, If you read this post ma brother, remember with the strength of the
team and cheering section showing support, you can't lose.
