Hi all As there seems to be some very clever people on the list I had a question about a big splash. There has been quite a bit in out papers lately about the MIR space station splash down in a few weeks between New Zealand and South America. Some reports say pieces could be as large as 21 Tonne (metric) and travelling at 1km per sec. I was wondering if that sort of splash would create a signficant wave or would it be absorbed by the ocean. Maybe Doug should be packing his bags and kayak and heading for New Zealand, David Canberra Aust. *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
