I lost my first one overboard through my own stupidity - and replaced it with the same thing. I had great luck with the radio - in admittedly light use, but never had a problem with leakage (not even in circumstances where I made no effort to shield it from hose spray in rinsing my other gear). Operation is very easy, good layout, and obviously solid. It would be nice if it were a little smaller/lighter, but I still like the VHF HX350S the best overall of what I've seen. II remember correctly there was discussion of radios on Paddlewise awhile back - you might also check the archives to see if any of that discussion was saved.
