Paddlers and PaddleWisers in the Portland, Oregon neighborhood are invited to a slide show, this Wednesday March 14th, about paddling in Italy, presented by Barbara Kossy, visiting from Moss Beach, California. Barbara is a former president of Bay Area Sea Kayakers and has been kayaking in Italy since 1996. Barbara and a friend were the only Americans, and only women, to compete in a two-day marathon around Elba Island. Come see the slides and maps, hear the story, and learn about kayaking in Italy!
