Yes we share gear and she has a quite a few kayaks at her place. My mother is what we refer to her as a Grey Nomad - someone who is retired and goes travelling around. She has trouble getting her kayak on top of her kombi but she has a small plastic one which she can slide in the back between the two front seats. She dosn't go in the open sea but does lake and river trips. Her House backs straight onto a lake (Where I grew up). So I get plenty of paddling in when I visit. It was great when my kids were small as I got them into kayaking (though they haven't taken it up) at an early age. As for paddlewise, She is not interested in the internet - too busy Cheers David -----Original Message----- From: volinjo_at_juno.com [mailto:volinjo_at_juno.com] Sent: Thursday, 15 March 2001 4:01 PM To: Whyte, David Cc: PaddleWise_at_paddlewise.net; jackie_at_intelenet.net Subject: Re: [Paddlewise] Talking about GW sharks Now that is something that I like to hear.
