Hi Folks,

> Hi, has anyone had any experience with this system.

great you mention it Mark!

On the waterproof discussion where Aquapac was mentioned, I wanted to point
out on www.ewa.marine.de but didn´t got the time and the nerves (my awful
unskilled english...) to point on Ewa-Marine products.

So I do it now. Ewa-Marine is a german company placed nearby munich. Is
very well known in the diving scene, got excellent solutions for all types
of cameras. They are producing waterproof bags for phones, hand marine
radios, cassette and CD-disc players ...
I got a bag for my marine radio (ICOM M10). For those bags you have got the
choice between the diveable lock and a more simple and much cheaper (than
aquapac) lock. I got the cheaper one, it´s a kind of rail (double T
profile), pushed over a small tube. The foil is bend around the "tube".
Costed me 35 DEM, (~ 17 USD) including package and postage.

For all padling devices it´s really okay and the material isn´t as thin as
aquapac. For the future I will buy more from EWA.
Aquapac is more "luxurious", more expensive and in some advices better
developed "to the point". When you don´t need best designed and most
expensive stuff, take EWA-marine.

EWA is mostly known in the diving scene, in the BOOT Düsseldorf (worlds
largest watersport exhibition) there only stand is in the diving hall.
Aquapac is to find in one of the 3 yacht-equipment halls, thats and the
better promotion, the english (or american ??) headquarters might be the
reason Aquapac is better known then EWA worldwide.
