RE: [Paddlewise] Ewa Waterproof camera Bags

I bought an Ewa bag for my Sony PC-100 camcorder and it
stinks as far as being able to use all of the controls through the bag. On
the 13 3/4 hour paddle around Catalina Island last summer, I stowed it
between my legs and I got close to an hour of footage of my crotch before
the batteries ran out. I didn't know it was on. I was pissed
because I found out the battery was dead about 4 hours into the paddle.
Even if you bring spare batteries with you, the bag is so tight that you
WON'T want to switch batteries on the water. I therefore, sank another
$1600 into the hard case (Sea-n-Sea) dive case which performs A LOT
BETTER.

take care

Bags

Hi, has anyone had any experience with this system.

Reportedly waterproof to 30 ft. less expensive than hard
housings and

adaptable to a variety of models, both in video and still
formats. TIA

Mark
