David, It shouldn't be a problem. I know a couple of people who paddle Greenland style in Capellas, and they have no problems. Don't be too obsessed with keeping your hands so low that you drag your knuckles across your skirt -- the inuit don't paddle that low. Find a comfortable stroke, and stick with it.
