Tom, I and some friends were caught in a thunderstorm in North Texas on Possum Kingdom Lake. There was no place to pull out, so we hid under an outcrop topped by a 75' cliff, hoping that the cliff would be the target of any lightning. Had about 2 inches of rain in 30 min (or so it seemed). I don't recommend it. --Mel-- =^..^= Cell: (937) 232-6472 Pager: (888) 704-4169 http://melskayakpage.homestead.com http://www.mellammers.net http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Foldableseayakers mslammers_at_mellammers.net foldableseayakers_at_yahoogroups.com > > Date: Mon, 26 Mar 2001 03:13:17 -0800 (PST) > > From: Tom <tombrooklyn_at_yahoo.com> > > Subject: [Paddlewise] Anyone Been In A Thunderstorm? > > > > Has anyone been caught in a thunderstorm?
