[Paddlewise] Tethers

G'day All, personally I feel undressed in the water unless my paddle, and
everything else, is tethered. Lots of folks over here use a simple paddle
tether of one-eighth inch diameter shock cord [ without pre-formed coils ]
with olive cleats at each end. [ to attach to paddle and deck ]
This is light, strong, easily adjustable and removable. I have a
personal aversion to coiled paddle tethers which thump the deck/skirt every
stroke.
